Pulitzers

Congratulations are in order for the first member of my generation of journalists to win the Pulitzer Prize. Charlie Savage, 31, of The Boston Globe was awarded journalism’s highest honor this afternoon for his meticulous series on George Bush’s use of signing statements. Well done.

Thirty-two dead in Virginia Tech shooting, making it “the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.” What the hell kind of guns did the shooter have?
UPDATE: ABC News: “Two guns were recovered, a 9 mm pistol and a .22-caliber pistol.”
